The simple definition of Vaping is the act of inhaling vapour through a personal vapouriser (better known as an electronic cigarette). Vapes have increasingly gained popularity over the past few years worldwide, as an alternative to smoking and although it may look very similar to smoking, in most important respects it is completely different and been proven to be 95% healthier than smoking traditional cigarettes, never mind a cheaper alternative.
An e-cigarette is a device that allows you to inhale nicotine in a vapour rather than smoke. E-cigarettes don’t contain tobacco and don’t produce tar or carbon monoxide. Vaping works by heating a solution that typically contains nicotine, propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, and flavourings that are usually suspended in propylene glycol, unlike traditional cigarette which can contain more than 7,000 chemicals in cigarette smoke. More than 70 of those chemicals are linked to cancer.
How do I choose the right e-cigarette for me?
A rechargeable e-cigarette with a refillable tank delivers nicotine more effectively and quickly than a disposable model and is likely to give you a better chance of quitting smoking.
– If you’re a lighter smoker, you could try a cigalike, vape pen or pod system.
– If you’re a heavier smoker, it’s advisable to try a vape pen, pod system or mod.
– It’s also important to choose the right strength of e-liquid to satisfy your needs.
