how to store your vape juice

All vape juices have a number of different ingredients and with the odd exception, most of these are common to every product:
- VG/PG
- Flavour
- Nicotine
Unfortunately for us, this means our favourite juices have a shelf life and we need to use them up before they become another casualty to the BBD date like last year’s Tuna. To clarify though, in the UK, there is no official BBD for vape juice.
Your vape juice is best stored in a cool, dark place, like most foods, and especially liquids. Leaving them out in the sun will cause them to separate and eventually lose their flavour. If you can, keep them in their original box, and failing that keep them in a cupboard. Doing this will help your juice stay flavoursome for up to two years. Of course, this is dependent on if your bottle has been opened and once opened, your juice will only last a few weeks before it starts losing its flavour. This is due to the juice evaporating, especially if left out in the sun.
Like anything that’s past its best, using vape juice which has “gone bad” won’t give you a great experience. The flavour may be off, or just so weak it’s hard to identify. It may also mean that if the experience is so bad, you may leave vaping behind and go back to smoking. The bottom line is this: The choice is yours. You can risk it and see how it tastes or you can just bin that long-lost bottle and get yourself onto your favourite site for that new flavour you’ve always thought about buying.
