Understanding freebase or nicotine salts sound complicated but don’t get stress out it can be simple and easy to understand.
I’m not going to go into the scientific three hour break down of what the difference between the two types is but give you enough information to understand the basics and what you’ll need to confidently add your own nicotine shot to your e-liquid when choosing your nicotine strength.
FREE BASE:
Free base nicotine is the nicotine often highly concentrated and may be mixed with a flavoring agent such as blueberry, bubble gum, or vanilla. The containers range from the size of an eye-drop bottle to a gallon container. Free base nicotine is the most common use within vaping.
Normally used in higher wattage devices
NICOTINE SALTS
Nicotine salt is basically the new kid of the block if you haven’t heard of it before in short its allows you to have a higher nicotine level in your e-liquid without having a harsh throat hit you may get using free based nicotine with higher levels of nicotine in your e-liquid.
This also means you get more bang for your buck! You end up vaping less because you get a lot more nicotine. So if you love that light headed feeling, but hate having to vape 24/7, Nic Salts may be right for you.
Normally used in low wattage or starter devices
