We’re all fans of it, and we all spend a small fortune on it. But do we all know what exactly is in it? Your Vape juice, or E-liquid, is a liquid that’s placed in the tank of an e-cigarette. Essentially, this is what your inhaling and exhaling.
As with all liquids, when you heat it up it changes its chemical state much like water. This is where the kit you’re using makes a difference. Look at some of my reviews for more information on kits.
Many kits allow you to tweak the temperature so you can cater the flavour hit to your own liking. Many kits can heat your juice to almost 200C!
GENERALLY, VAPING LIQUID IS A MIXTURE OF:
2. Propylene glycol (PG) or Vegetable glycerine (VG) (or a mix)
As most people know Nicotine is very addictive and when you take time away from it you develop an intense craving. It’s the reason we smoke or vape albeit vaping if far better for you than smoking. Giving up is extremely difficult because of this little ingredient. The amount of nicotine your body needs depends on a variety of factors but the below can be used as a rough guide.
0.3% – Light smokers or dripping (dripping a little vaping liquid directly onto the coil for a, arguably, better flavour).
0.6% – Smokers who have 10 light-strength cigarettes a day habit.
1.2% – Smokers who smoked between 10 to 15 cigarettes in a day.
1.8% – High strength for people who smoked 20 or more cigarettes a day.
PG/VG are liquid ingredients used in vape juice, which can be combined with differing levels of nicotine. These two ingredients are combined in various ways in E-liquids to suit each vape user’s preference. PG is a petroleum byproduct and VG is a natural vegetable-based substance. They both give you different effects, with the VG helping the flavour taste smooth and the PG giving you more of a throat hit.
Flavouring is just that. It’s what make you juice taste sweet, bitter, smooth, or sour. There are thousands of different flavours out there and we will all have our favourites.
So now you know!
